We are excited to announce this month’s cooking class with Chef Lou Lambert. Lou is the chef of Lambert’s in Fort Worth, Texas. Lambert specializes in steaks and seafood, making October 18ths cooking class, worthy to attend. The menu includes:
-foie gras mousseline & fig jam on brioche toast
-hot smoked salmon croustade with cucumber cream
-Lambert’s chopped salad with pickled Cajun shrimp
-bock braised beef short ribs with green chili grits
-blackberry cake cobbler with chantilly cream
The meal will be paired with the wonderful beers of Rarh & Sons Brewery.

October 14th & 15th, the Granbury Opera House will be presenting The Lost Concert. The Lost Concert is “the concert that never happened”, starring Roy Orbison & Elvis Presley. This show has already sold out at the Moody Gardens, so catch it while you can at the Granbury Opera House! Showtimes are at 2:30pm and 7:30pm for both days. Get your tickets online here.
Tarleton Langdon Center is hosting the 15th Annual Rio Brazos Art Exhibition from October 9th-23rd. The show will feature all media including acrylic, pastel, photography, water media, and many more. Artists come from across the nation and all artwork will be for sale. Displays will be open on Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sundays 12pm-4pm at the Langdon Center right off of the Square.
October 7th, 8th, and 9th, the Granbury Opera House presents: There Will Be No Sad Songs. There Will Be No Sad Songs is a musical show featuring the country music legend Hank Williams.
