Weddings at the Inn

If you are looking for waterfront ambiance for your 2011 North Texas wedding location, you are in good company! At the Inn on Lake Granbury, we are already getting many inquires for dates in early spring through the fall. We’ve already confirmed several weddings between April and June.

Bride’s looking for the serenity of an outdoor wedding with the peacefulness and beauty of a lakefront venue find our intimate property to be their ideal location. We set up the ceremony chairs on our lawn overlooking the lake, with our sprawling live oak trees creating a beautiful contrast against the sparkling water in the late afternoon. With such a natural and entrancing backdrop, the floral aisle décor and arch that are included are all the additional flowers needed to create the perfect ambiance for the ceremony.

The guest tables wrap around a crushed granite walkway under more live oak trees (where we often hang Chinese style rice lanterns) and facing our stone stage with a large area where a dance floor can be added. Next to the stage, a stone fireplace sits where we can put hurricane lanterns with tall candles to add more light and romance to the evening as the sun sets and your guests unwind as they dine and dance into the night.

Our reception room is perfect for those who want to be inside, and we also put the bride’s and groom’s cakes here. Bride’s often have a slide show that we play on our large screen TV while the cake is being cut and served and guests toast the happy couple.

Ryan and Evan are a couple who recently had their wedding with us on a beautiful, sunny day here at the Inn. They had 125 guests here to toast them and enjoy their occasion, and everyone had a great time! Having hosted over 100 weddings here at the Inn since 2005, we enjoy working with each bride to create a unique and memorial occasion that utilizes all the best aspects of our property. We email wedding package information on request, and enjoy giving brides tours of the Inn and showing all we can offer. Appointments benefit both you and us by allowing us to give you our full attention.
